Tusker Back New Foreign Trio to Spark Silverware Push

Tusker FC have thrown their weight behind three newly signed foreign players—goalkeeper Pavelh Ndzila, left-back Servel Akouala and striker Selasie Bless Akai—to fire the Brewers’ bid for silverware in the 2025-26 FKF Premier League second leg this weekend in Kenya.
Chief Executive Sam Nzau said on Tuesday that the club, currently seeking to revive their campaign, believes the international experience of the trio will be key in reigniting results as Tusker chase a trophy finish. “We are delighted to add these three players of international experience to the team… confident their presence can ignite improved performances,” Nzau said, highlighting the push for momentum after a challenging first half of the season.
Ndzila arrives from Rwandese side Rayon Sports, Akouala joins from Algerian outfit US Biskra, while Ghanaian Akai—last season’s top scorer at Dadje FC—adds firepower up front. “I am delighted to be at Tusker… my ambition is to help the team rise from where it is currently,” Akai said as the trio prepared to be assessed ahead of their weekend clash with Shabana FC at Gusii Stadium.
The new recruits take part in training this week as Tusker look to translate fresh talent into tangible success in the tough SportPesa League run-in.
