Ryan Ogam’s FIFA Series Form Sends a Message to Wolfsberger

Ryan Ogam scored twice in two games for Harambee Stars at the FIFA Series — and every minute he played was a reminder of what his Austrian club is wasting.
The striker netted Kenya’s equalizer against Estonia, a crisp first-time finish after Zech Obiero’s assist, before scoring again in the 3-0 bronze-medal win over Grenada. That takes him to 8 goals in a Kenya shirt. For a striker supposedly out of form, the numbers tell a different story.
Ogam joined Austrian Bundesliga side Wolfsberger AC in September 2025 after a standout CHAN 2024 campaign and a 15-goal season with Tusker FC. His debut came October 4 — 14 minutes against Graz AK. Then the bench. Then nothing. By year’s end he had not played 8 consecutive top-flight matches. He was sent to the reserve team in 2026 and has featured only in the Regional League Central since.
Yet his national team coach keeps trusting him. And Ogam keeps delivering. “I need to keep scoring for both club and country,” he said.
He is doing exactly that. The question is whether Wolfsberger are paying attention.
