Olunga held as Al Arabi cough up 2-2 late draw
Michael Olunga’s wait for another goal went on as Al Arabi let a win slip in a dramatic 2-2 Qatar Stars League draw with Al-Rayyan on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
Al Arabi trailed at the break after Roger Guedes struck in the 34th minute, but turned the match around when Pablo Sarabia levelled soon after the restart and Perez fired them ahead on 72 minutes.
Just as the hosts looked set to bank three points, the finish turned brutal: Saleh equalised deep into stoppage time and Marafee snatched a last-gasp leveller at 90+9 to deny Al Arabi in the dying seconds.
