KU Blak Blad Bank on Depth as Osano Eyes Super Cup Slot

KU Blak Blad aren’t relying on one or two stars to carry them through the Super Cup. The squad depth is the plan.
The students finished fifth in the Kenya Cup regular season — six wins, five losses, 28 points. Not flashy. But they’ve shown they can compete. And they’ve been rotating bodies all season, which means more players are match-ready than most sides can say.
Osano has been pushing hard in recent weeks. A Super Cup slot is within reach and he knows it.
“Our strength is the collective,” a club official said. “Every man on this squad can step up.”
The road to the Super Cup is never easy. But KU aren’t showing up just to fill numbers.
