Hull City One Win From EPL With Two Harambee Stars Prospects Along for the Ride

Hull City are in the Championship playoff final. One win from the Premier League. And two Harambee Stars prospects are part of the story.
Hull beat Millwall 2-0 on aggregate on Monday — Belloumi and Gelhardt scored in the second leg — to book a final against either Southampton or Middlesbrough on May 23. The winner takes the last promotion spot to the 2026-27 Premier League, joining Coventry City and Ipswich Town.
Eliot Matazo, a Belgian-born defender eligible for Kenya through his mother, is sidelined with an ACL injury suffered in April. He won’t feature. But Sammy Henia-Kamau — English mother, Kenyan father — is in the Hull setup. The former Swansea player joined their U21 side in August 2025 and has 4 goals in 12 appearances this season.
Neither featured in the semi. But if Hull go up, they go up with them on the bench.
