Harambee Starlets Back Themselves to Stun India in FIFA Series

Kenya coach Beldine Odemba has done her homework. And she likes what she sees.
“We have studied our opponents. We know how they play, and we are confident we shall walk away with a win,” Odemba said ahead of Saturday’s FIFA Series opener against India at Nyayo National Stadium.
The confidence is grounded. Kenya secured WAFCON 2026 qualification by beating The Gambia and showed tactical improvement across two recent friendlies against Algeria. India, meanwhile, arrive in poor form — new coach Crispin Chhetri taking over after a dismal AFC Women’s Asian Cup campaign.
Kenya’s camp opened April 1. The squad is motivated. And Starlets believe Saturday is theirs to take.
