Gor Mahia Coach Accuses Tusker of Bad Faith After Wang’uru Stadium Defeat

Gor Mahia’s assistant coach has come out swinging. After Tuesday’s 1-0 FKF Premier League defeat to Tusker in Mwea, Kobi Bismarck Mensah accused the brewers of deliberate foul play — hosting the match at Wang’uru Stadium in Kirinyanga County specifically to disrupt Kogalo.
“Tusker train at Kasarani,” Mensah said. “If it is not bad intention, why do you bring your home game here?” He called the pitch substandard and demanded the club licensing board reject approvals for such facilities.
Ibrahim Joshua scored the only goal. The loss stings hard — Gor Mahia’s lead over AFC Leopards is down to two points, both sides having played 27 matches.
The title race just got tighter.
