Fortune Sacco held 0-0 as Kibera Stars dig in

Fortune Sacco and Kibera Black Stars shared the points after a goalless National Super League draw on December 22 at Kianyaga Stadium in Kirinyaga County. The hosts started on the front foot, bossing the first half with a noisy home crowd behind them, but neither side could find the finishing touch as chances came and went and the tempo kept climbing.
Kibera keeper Elvis Otieno said the trip demanded grit, calling it “a very intense” match and adding that playing away to “a well-prepared team” tested their character. Coach Iddi Badi was satisfied with the outcome, noting: “One point away from home is not bad,” even as he admitted their chances “didn’t work in our favor.”
League action resumes on January 10, with Kisumu All-Stars hosting Fortune Sacco and Kibera Black Stars facing Luanda Villa in Nairobi.
